"Freetown" is an exciting bit of LDS historically based cinema about LDS African missionaries who have to flee their country against great odds under the threat of death at the hands of thugs with machine guns. I saw this one in theaters and truly enjoyed the combination of faith, humor, and suspense present throughout. Elements of it reminded me of "The Saratov Approach", which I also loved.

My favorite inspirational movie right now is 17 Miracles. It reminds me of hardships others faced and that they were able to continue and carry on, no matter how hard.
